Certified Network Defender
The Certified Network Defender (CND) certification program aims at training Network Administrators in the art of protecting, detecting and responding to different threats and attacks on the network. Network administrators are typically acquainted with network elements, traffic, performance and utilization, configuration, location of every system, security policy, etc. A CND will get an elemental understanding of software and network technologies and will get a deep understanding of how networks operate. They will also learn the art of analyzing logs and subject material.
In addition, gaining knowledge about IDS, firewall and VPN configuration, network security protocols, defense fundamentals and analysis techniques will help the Network Administrator design safer network security policies and come up with successful incident response strategies.
